It's the same reason Awesome Swordsman isn't considered all that great a Materia anymore; most units either have innate DW, or prefer to go TDH. The only units that still use Genji Glove/Awesome Swordsman in my box are Rem, SBDF, Sephiroth, or Orlandeau. Most people just plain don't need it anymore.
