He does the stuff you'd expect; slowing targets, hasting himself, summoning time clones. You want to hit the same target multiple times quickly to get stacks of bonus damage when using basic attacks. I don't love his overall design but he does have a cool looking sword. Since I tend to prefer melee champions and his abilities sound at least somewhat interesting he also has that going in his favor. Placement: Whatever-to-Solid. Elise Hey, she might be one of the first Ranged champions I went and bothered to read her abilities. Maybe because I did it for a few already in this batch and I was already in the mood... maybe because she's a hot spider lady... the world may never know. I've talked before about my preference for non-human characters, although it hasn't gotten the chance to show too many times because we've mostly seen the exact types that I don't have affinity for. Elise in particular has a ton of points in her favor: Tall, I love tall female characters. Monster, I love monsters. She has some pretty rockin' skins. Her abilities sound pretty interesting even in spite of being ranged. I like more esoteric things like poison rather than very on-the-nose stuff like 'shoots fireballs.' She also looks pretty metal. Not as much as Aatrox, for sure, but she's also way more sexy than he is so uh... Ranking: Attractive Female Characters > Badass Dudes > Everyone Else > Furries, Creeps, and Wimps Top tier apparently. And while Caitlyn was fairly solid, I'd say Elise is more the type of character that I would actually rank very high. Cait was just on top of the list by default until better options arrived. Namely, hot monsters. She'd be better if she had a more abnormal skin color, but nobody is perfect.
