I was just joking with a co-worker (she teared up at the news) that the Day 1 of every Marvel film probably has his cameo scenes scheduled, just in case. From what I'd heard, they actually scheduled his scenes so they could film multiple ones at once, with the implication that, in some cases, they were literally filming his scene before anything else in the movie. The idea being they didn't want to be constantly flying him around all the time with his health being what it was for the last few years, so they'd try to deal with multiple scenes all in one go to get it out of the way. I have no idea if that's true, though.
