There hasnt been a good zelda game since the original on NES

When i play an adventure game i want a fucking adventure, not a guided tour.
When i want a challenging game i want it to be difficult, and not simulate difficulty by making me fucking wait and wait and wait.
And you know what, i take it back. 4swords with 4 friends was actually a lot of fun. So they managed to make one after the NES.
Turn off the notification system in BotW and you kind of have that. (Yes, I intentionally covered the map when it shows you where the dungeons are for the first time, and immediately deselected that mission) Everything that I have done in that game has been though pure exploration.
Ive actually heard decent things about botw, but after the massive string of disappointments before it i dont think i can justify buying a full fucking console for it.
So i will give botw a maybe, but wind waker, link to the past, ocarina, majoras and twilight princess were all overrated pieces of hot fucking dogshit
