How? Gun control only works with legit sources.

Yeah, and a decent chunk of guns used in crime were bought from those legit sources.

Is it going to stop everyone? No. But as I've said several times, that's not the point - it will reduce the number and that's plenty good enough.

Well it's certainly not the homeless and uneducated either. They take time to plan this crap.

What level of education do you think your average gang member has? Or your average guy knocking over a liquor store? These are not doctors and engineers taking time off from their day job to make some extra cash on the side.

I hope you don't seriously think gun control works for all kinds of weapons/crime.

No, but it does a pretty good job with gun crime, which is the entire reason why it's being recommended in the first place.

I'm not sure why you'd want to implement gun control to cut down on, say, tax evasion...

Exactly, gun control is a complete waste of resources that doesn't solve the problem we have.

He says while ignoring the fact that it *has* worked everywhere else.

Mental health evaluations?

...are going to do jack shit, really. Most killers are not mentally unwell - not even most mass shooters.

Don't get me wrong, mental health care in America is in drastic need of improvement (health care in general, really), but if you're expecting that to suddenly solve your problems with gun crime, you're going to be disappointed.
