He fights ghosts. Hes tall, slender, and green. These two are easily seen as different. MM is small and blue. MMX is taller, thinner, older looking, and more ornate. They aren't AS visually distinct as Mario and Luigi, but they can be told apart. The difference in their powers is roughly equivalent to Mario and Luigi pre-Luigi's Mansion when Luigi started doing ghost things (or Ryu and Ken even now!). They were created by the same person, but Mario and Luigi were created by the same parents. --- Look at all those chickens O, the land of cloudless day! O, the land of an unclouded sky! ...
