Pretty much everyone I know who's seen Venom enjoyed it. Maybe it's actually a good movie, and your obsessive purism is keeping you from giving it a legitimate chance?

As soon as I was like 14-15 I realized at least 50% of the world's population is dumb.

Think about how dumb the average person is, and realize that half the world is dumber than that ~George Carlin

The problem with that statement is that "average person" isn't a statistical measure, it's an anecdotal observation. "Everyday person" would be more accurate, and even then, your perception of "everyday person" is going to be heavily skewed by the standard suite of perceptual biases (most notably, you notice remarkably stupid people more often than unremarkable ones and therefore give them more weight in your overall perception). You can't really apply statistical concepts to a non-statistical measure.

You're learning this now? Stupid people have made us the minority. We have too many things in place keeping natural selection from doing its job.

Watching cynical misanthropes pretend to understand basic biology while acting intelligent never gets old.
