The lyrics are also not very funny or witty, if anything they're too repetitive. Not the best StarKid offering, I'd rather have Get Back to Hogwarts. 62. You can't control who lives, who dies, you ranks your show tunes. Anyway, Hamilton has a lot of really good crowd songs but unfortunately none of my favorites were nominated. The Schuyler Sisters, Take A Break, Non-Stop, Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story, and even Story of Tonight and My Shot. Oh well. Anyway, how much I like a Hamilton song is usually proportional to how little rap it has. Hamilton's little quartet is also not my favorite group of the Hamilton characters so yeah, this song just doesn't do much for me. Also there's a long break in this song that's basically just people...talking, and not very entertainingly. It would also say it's mostly by Hamilton and Mulligan (and a bit of Lafayette) with the crowd serving as backing but that's a bit nitpicky, I'll admit. I do consider Yorktown to be rather overrated, though I know this is not a popular opinion. Riesling My favorite thing about Hamilton is how it uses rap to narrate a historical scene. This song is not one I like to listen to, but it's really great to watch.
