I watched Madoka Magica through the movies and have never actually seen it through the normal TV episodes. From what I understand, The first movie traded a few extra story details (but nothing major) from the first 8 episodes for greatly enhanced visuals and animation, while the second movie basically gave up nothing because it was about the same length time-wise as the last 4 episodes and barely cut anything, but had the same level of enhanced visuals as the first movie. --- "Someday I too will fly... and find you again!" https://imgur.com/vDsfdEf ...
