From Robin and the Seven Hoods
Nominated by Underleveled

The first song to fall from a musical I didn't know until this topic. Robin and the Seven Hoods is a 1964 movie musical about the Robin Hood legend but set in the 1930s Chicago mafia life.
This song plays when the coppers try to raid the Hoods' HQ only to find them acting like they're good men and declaring that they're staying away from jazz and liquor.
So yeah, this song is probably true to both 60's and 30's era, sung in a...pseudo barber shop quartet style. Very old school. I wouldn't say it's not catchy, it kinda is, and the orchestration is rather fun. However it gets repetitive quite fast since it's just either the same notes ooor some randos trying to appear to be an honest, upstanding citizen. These dialogues break the flow instead of adding to it and they aren't really funny (though they'd be funnier in the context of the movie since I'll see these presumably ravenous, vile gangsters are just playing tricks on the sheriff).
It also scored quite in theatricality and crowd effectiveness because it's mostly sung by a lead and the crowd was just a vague congregation without enough character. Which might be understandable to some point since they're just putting up a show -- but it's not a very believable nor entertaining show.

Well, I don't hate it, at least. For a similar song with breaks where each member of the crowd talk about their take on the main theme of the song, I very much prefer Turn It Off from The Book of Mormon. Sadly nobody nominated it.

Trivia: the film's got crazy star power, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Bing Crosby. Heck, I'm not American and I don't particularly listen to 60s era songs yet I know these names.
