| wolfy42 10/17/18 12:26:31 AM #10: | Places around here stop taking orders early, and in fact, seriously early sometimes which is freaking annoying. I wanted to get a pizza from NY vinnies. I love their pizza. I called at 9:22 to order a pizza to pick up. They said "Sorry we stopped taking called in orders at 9:22. I live 5 minutes away so I say "Ok, I'll just come into the store and order a pizza then, what time do you stop taking them.". They responded with 9:24 lol......they REALLY wanted to leave early I guess. I get not taking order 15-20 minutes before you close (though you should have it on your website/sign etc), but 40 minutes before you close is just rediculous, and it's not even a place you can eat at...it's all take out/pick up...so it takes a whole 5 minutes MAX to ring someone up. Doesn't take long to make the pizza either, mostly just gotta wait the 10 minutes for it to go through the machine. So the other side kinda blows too. I wouldn't go sit down at a place when it closed in 20 minutes, that is just rude, but....you shouldn't stop taking orders over 30 minutes before your official closing time either. --- "did you steal my f***in signature" Helly ...
