I also find rental to be a waste on the long run, it's better to save enough money to buy a place and never ever having to pay to stay there even though it takes longer to actually being able to do that. Aye. Friend of mine is looking to get a condo since a house is overkill for him and his apartment rates just keep going up. Oddly enough, I think he said his mortgage and HOA fees will somehow be less than his rent but he isn't satisfy with the condos he has seen thus far. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
