No, the reason is that Hollywood isn't good enough with found footage and ghost movies yet. They just need to keep practicing until they get it right. tbh, ghost movies and found footage are nowhere near as overproduced as slashers. And the found footage genre tends to be more indie than Hollywood, given that it's a justifiable way to do low-cost filmmaking. Lokarin posted...
