Sora probably has this. In the previous contest stats topic, I have commented on Pokemon not having the same amount of love that the rest of Nintendo has on this site. But I will post it here as well. While Nintendo fans will play most of the games that Nintendo puts out, being a Nintendo fan does not necessarily mean that you are a Pokemon fan as well. Modern Pokemon does not have anywhere near the playrate of the Gen 1/2 games, and a lot of people quit Pokemon after Gen 1 or Gen 2. I don't think any of the Pokemon games after Gen 3 would have a playrate above 50%. There are still many people who quit Pokemon after Gen 1 or Gen 2 who have not yet returned to the series. I cannot think of any other Nintendo series besides Pokemon where a large number of people have quit the series and have yet to return to the series again.
