Out of all of the annual franchises, I do think Assassin's Creed is the best quality. That said, I do wish they would make it an every other year thing rather then every year. You get the feeling the devs are getting burned out.

Origins was great because they took a year off to recharge before releasing it. Unity was a bug riddled mess (and even after they fixed that still a horrible game in my eyes) because they tried to do two games that year and failed miserably.

Also, I am kind of wondering what the "annoyingly repetitive" achievement is going to be for this game. 3 had "watch a bunch of people on your homestead do boring things", Syndicate had "Run around the city in a horse and carriage plowing over things for 5 hours straight", Origins had "Wander around the desert until you get a certain completely random hallucination"(which I still haven't gotten yet). What is this year going to be, "Swim in the river Styx for one complete day of game time"?
