So you don't even order it ahead of time if you pick it up yourself? You just wait there at the store?

I usually pick it up myself, but I always order online ahead of time so I don't have to wait at the store. I just walk in, pick up my pizza, and leave.

That's silly. The rare ocassions where there's some sort of inconvenience like this are totally outweighed by all the other times where you didn't have to waste your own gas and time to "get it your damn self".

I prefer to pick up the pizza myself, not because of inconveniences like this topic, but because I don't want to pay a tip to the delivery driver. Plus, I'm not wasting my own gas or going out of my way to pick it up because I pick up the pizza on my way home from work. What I do is order a pizza about 15 minutes before I get off work. Then I just swing by and pick it up on my way home. So I'm not wasting gas, nor going out of my way, nor having to pay a tip to the delivery driver. It's a win-win-win.
