We see Kinzo laughing and talking about how you escaped me again!
A: This is so incredibly creepy! Especially if this really happened and its not just symbolic
From my perspective, it seems like Kinzo has this belief that Beatrice inhabits the childs body after the parents death. So he thinks the soul of Beatrice went from Beatrice Castiglioni to Beatrice Ushiromiya to Sayo/Lion, and since he thinks Sayo/Lion died, the soul escaped his reach once again.

Krauss came home and saw how nuts Kinzo was
A: they have these things called old folks homes.
K: I think the mansion IS his old folks home.
A: At this point, I think Krauss would be validated calling for the men in white coats to take him away.
K: Also keep in mind this is 19 years ago. Kinzo is still old, but maybe not decrepitly so.
A: Its never too early to call up Shady Acres. Excuse me, we have a wild one over here. Bring two of your burliest!

At some point in the discussion, Gaap starts to take Natsuhis place.
A: Does Gaap represent Natsuhi? We always talk about who is who and at this point, Gaap has become Natsuhi. Or Natsuhi has become Gaap
K: Its possible. Just like how I think Gaap in Ep 4 is often Gohda, you could say Gaap here is Natsuhi.
A: I like that idea
