Also how and why Luke and Clare are an item, which plays into the love triangle with Jessica Jones (which thinking about it more ties a little bit into the Jessica Jones story, but not really). Plus don't even get me started on why Misty and Luke would be on good terms.

Luke and JJ split in JJ1. As for Misty being on good terms with Luke, it's like saying you need to watch IF1 to see why Colleen and Danny are on good terms.

Again, the main villain in Defenders are Madam Gau and Elektra both of which are introduced in DD. The extended story of the hand isn't even referenced in Defenders, which is why it is kind of pointless to watch Iron Fist. Even the people that Danny fought in IF aren't really in Defenders except Madam Gau and even then she is more of a way to tie Danny into the story.

Uh, no. Madame Gao is a supporting character, as Bakuto. The main villain was Sigourney followed by Elektra.

And lol @ the people in IF not appearing in Defenders when fucking Bakuto is one of the five fingers of the Hand. And, out of ALL the MCU shows, *only* DD and IF introduced villains who appeared in Defenders. JJ was completely self-contained and LC had incidental connections.
