From The Athletic:

BA ///// OBP /// SLG /// OPS
0.240 / 0.316 / 0.395 / 0.711 - Non-deGrom starts
0.219 / 0.300 / 0.377 / 0.677 - deGrom starts
0.217 / 0.295 / 0.359 / 0.654 - deGrom while he's still pitcher of record

Although that doesn't break down how much of that offense for deGrom is actually from deGrom. Sometimes, he was the offense in his starts.

Also, Mets bullpen has a 6.85 ERA in his starts, 4.75 in other games.

Neat, thanks. The non-deGrom start stats put their offense as roughly middling quality compared with the other 29 teams. The factor that makes it even worse is, as you said, 47% of the time he pitched in a tied situation. So moments of high leverage constituted the majority of the Mets' offensive failings. He did have a number of starts involving the Mets getting quick, early leads and then continuing to produce well when the pressure was off.

But if the game was close, the offense sputtered.
