I feel the same way as both of you A couple of things I didn't fully understand though... What was the point of that blue echo/light effect that happened a few times during the movie? Why did the husband burn when Annie burned the sketchbook? Why/how did Annie become possessed in the end? She was literally crawling on the ceiling
Great movie, and if the ending is all there is to it, I'm fine with that. But it just feels like mental illness plays a much bigger role and there's actually something else going on
Another thing that kind of bugged me was how convinent it was for Charlie's decapitation. Of course, the cult needed to decapitate her, but the way it happened was all too convenient for that to be planned. No way anyone could have predicted that going down the way that it did but the movie makes it seem like that was their plan all along.

The way it was presented at that point of the movie was less supernatural and more of a huge freak accident. But I'd be more shocked if you actually saw the movie. ---
