I have a gay aunt who's been with her partner happily (for far longer than any of her breeder siblings, ha) but the white trash folks in the family talk a lot of shit about them behind their backs and recently my aunts've been harassed by locals who throw mutilated livestock carcasses around the gate/cattle guard of their ranch, so mostly my parents would worry and be really sad if I had to deal with bullshit like that. My sister already gave them grandkids so they wouldn't be utterly heartbroken, and besides, there's always adoption or the good ol' DNA donor and turkey baster trick My maternal grandparents might write me out of the will for it though, even though I've been caregiving for them for the last four years.
