What about him resonates with you. He is basically a really bad, powerful guy, wanting to leave his evil past behind and be a good guy, but struggling with his own emotions of anger and frustration. He represents the human nature at its finest, and I totally identify myself with him since I myself left my past behind with God's help. I love his looks (the best design I've seen from Ayami Kojima), voice (props to Crispin Freeman), battle skills, magic powers, and rivalry.
