Or at least ask 90% of them, and not the 'public intellectuals' seemingly in the pocket of millions. Obama was a better than average president from an outside perspective, but was still largely complicit in the American political system, which commits atrocities regularly. By all accounts, the economy was on the up and up while Obama was on the way out, allowing Trump to continue a lifestyle of inheritance. America's getting messy. Canada is too.
