Oooooh I wanna do this too

The Endless - This is one of my new favorites of all time. An instant classic, superbly directed meta-horror that twists and rethinks the confines of genre tropes with one of the most satisfying build-ups, mysteries, and final acts I think I've ever seen in a film.

Annihilation - Masterful direction, Natalie Portman is great in it, and the body horror is superb.

Revenge - I Spit On Your Grave redone as action-packed feminist exploitation to satisfying effects that you just can't look away from.

Summer of 84 - The kids are great, Rich Sommer turns in an excellent performance, and the film takes several dark turns towards the end that really elevate it past other similar 80s retro efforts.

Unsane - Really gritty and disturbing with non-stop psychological escalation. Having this shot on an iPhone increases the atmosphere greatly.

Upgrade - Not too much of a horror film but this was still a blast to watch.

Hereditary - It was great, but it wasn't groundbreaking and was surprisingly straightforward, except for that one shocking scene. You know the one.

Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich - How can a Puppet Master film this deep into the franchise be this damn enjoyable?

A Quiet Place - I felt it was overrated too actually, I didn't think there was a very clear set of defined rules regarding sound levels in the film. The monsters kind of just worked however the scenes needed them too. Otherwise, really well-acted and I did end up liking the whole near "silent film" thing the film had going for it.

Bad Samaritan - More of a thriller I suppose but David Tennant turns in a great unhinged performance.

Demon House - Okay, I'm kind of a sucker for these paranormal/ghost hunting docs but this was a pretty compelling story.

The Strangers: Prey at Night - This one got a lot of hate and yeah it didn't quite live up to the original but it was still a chilling time. Very classic slasher feel to it.

The Cloverfield Paradox - Another one that I think got a bit unfairly hated on. The plot was kind of stupid but there was a lot of memorable scenes of body horror in this film that I liked.

Winchester - I love the real-life story but this movie was a snoozer. Typical ghost haunting BS I'm so tired of.

Insidious: The Last Key - I actually like the Insidious series but I can barely even remember this film at all.

Truth or Dare - Easily one of the worst horror films of the decade, but also one of the funniest.

The Open House - *insert FFX laughing scene here*
