4. Insidious: The Last Key: I'll probably get hate for it, but I viewed this more favorably than some. Great monster design and good enough story.

I did not enjoy cleft lip key fingers as a monster. I thought this movie was really really bad though.

I more or less agree with the rest. I would give Annihiliation a bit more respect though. I thought it had some really strong horror elements at parts.

I think I would put Truth or Dare over Winchester though. Winchester was the most boring movie. My girlfriend and I usually chat it up about movies after we see something but Winchester is so devoid of any depth or intrigue and the plot is just so bland, there was just nothing to discuss.

Truth or Dare was at least horrible and easy to make fun of. I enjoyed it ironically even though the rules keep making no sense and breaking the one rule of Truth or Dare which is you can't dare someone to tell the truth about something. I'd rather watch a Truth or Dare than be bored to death during Winchester. Although Truth or Dare had some really boring parts.

The original The Strangers is actually a master class of horror movies as far as I'm concerned. It does a lot of really good and subtle stuff. It plays it very reserved for the most part so that when it comes time to really hit you hard, it is far more impactful. I highly recommend it. It isn't among the best, but it does everything in a horror movie almost perfectly for the slasher genre.
