If you're so bad off that you're going to die within 24 hours, then you would know it. You would be extremely sick, not just sick.

The things that kill you instantly with no warning are things like heart attacks and strokes. Those aren't thing you make appointments for.

Yes, you can die from non-emergencies, but it's not going to happen overnight. Those are more gradual deaths. That's my entire point.

Great. Now I have to go to the doctor since your ignorance just gave me ass cancer.

Whatever. Anyway, your whole point is moot because the doctor isn't at fault for taking a day off, and that's what this whole topic is really about. You can't expect him to work 24/7 just in the slight chance that you might be dying. Go to the freaking ER if you want help today.

Another thing is that primary care doctors will rarely see you the same day anyway. Usually your appointment is going to be the next day at the earliest.

You make it sound like people are dying from non-emergencies all the time, but it doesn't happen that way in reality.

It's more likely that you would have been sick for days beforehand and are just now going to the doctor. That's your own damn fault for putting it off. You should have called on Friday, not Sunday.

By the way, are you still alive TC or did you die from your non-emergency?
