Replay a game from a long time ago Chrono Trigger 38/50 - A friend from work gifted me this a week ago, and in-between still playing BattleChasers: Nightwar and Trails of Cold Steel, I finished it up again for the first time in about a decade! I think this is the first time I went through the Black Omen, too. I always can't fathom just how much shorter and smaller the game world is whenever I get to The Time Egg. There are so many memorable moments and places that it always comes as a surprise how much of a machine gun its like hitting all those spots right after another. Maybe a good chunk of it is replaying it, knowing where to go, how to manipulate the treasure chests, and less surprises knowing what's happening. But it's still so weird getting to The End of Time less than a few hours in or fighting Magus at the tenth or so. This feels like a longer game than it really is, and that's a good thing.
