THESE TWO SHOULD BE PLAYING EVERYDAY. ITS IN-FUCKING-EXCUSABLE THAT THEY AREN'T. THEY ARE PLAYING FUCKING AUSTIN JACKSON AND FUCKING JOSE FUCKING REYES OVER PLAYERS WHO WILL BE ON THE TEAM NEXT YEAR. WHO NEED AS MANY ABS AS POSSIBLE and worst of fucking all Smith is being called up to replace Nimmo. Former 1b prospect. Former top 100. He has yet to get consistent daily ABs in the majors since 2016. BUT THEY WON'T PLAY HIM. THEY LITERALLY SAID "dont expect him to get much playing time" WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCKING SHIT IN MY FUCKING DICK HE WAS A FORMER TOP 100 PROSPECT. HE HAS NEVER GOTTEN A CHANCE TO PLAY CONSISTENTLY. He's sucked but we've never seen him for an extended period. Why do they ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO PLAY HIM??? IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE. COMPLETELY MIND BOGGLING even for the wilpons. Theres literally NO LOGICAL REASON to sit him and insist youre doing so. This all makes no fucking goddamn sense. This is beyond infuckingfuriating.
