He's lost Garnet because she's a princess and he's a thief, his life is falling apart because he's finding out about his test tube status, and I can't blame him for falling into a wee bit of depression, can you? I actually can, yes. Zidane's a very poor attempt at trying to give a character depth by falling into the same patterns previous hit main characters like Squall and Cloud did. It comes off as forced and repetitive, removing a lot of what made Zidane actually appealing as his own unique character in the process and just making him come off as diet Cloud with less reasons to actually be depressed. I'm not saying it couldn't in theory be played that way, just that I feel the writing of the game didn't really deliver it too well at all. Also I'm pretty sure he shouldn't actually have the steal command given how bad he is at it. I could lift items from these monsters with less attempts than he takes. If you think this is just a joke and doesn't factor into why I dislike him you would be wrong! --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
