I could do it with my shoes(it's quicker), but it's still a waste. I can see if you've been in the mud or they are really dirty. Nobody is saying keeping your shoes on isn't quicker. Dragging all the shit from the outside inside is the issue. I'm not just talking about mud. You've got loads of particles flying about outside that you drag inside, insects could get on your shoes, gum could get on your shoes many things from outside can get on your shoes without you even knowing.
