Pointing out that a claim is wrong isn't the same thing as actually defending somebody. And if somebody else would criticize outrageous hyperbolic claims -- for example, somebody who nitpicks other things but only when it suits his politics and social beliefs -- I would be less involved.

lol indeed because you keep misrepresenting what I say and then say I'm not that thing you pretend I claimed to be. Well, if you aren't saying what I am, of course I'm not going to be that. Left-leaning centrist is near the middle. A center leftist is along the center of leftist policies. Not that the political spectrum is particularly meaningful to you since you don't view Bernie Sanders as an extreme.
