You can always take a leave of absence at your current job to give the office job a try. I say to do it that way because if you don't like the office job, you can go back easier...
As for if you should, it's up to you. Personally, I always liked it better. But my situation might have been different in the military. But I usually like it better still. But if you wanted to do it, you should probably either have a unique skill that you study, or be decent all around with certain programs on computers(like excel and stuff). And it is nice to be in an office.
But you also have to remember that each office job is different. Based on the company and what the company itself does. And while factory work in usually physically draining, office work tends to usually be more mentally draining. But it could be a good experience, and sometimes, a switch is needed...
Thanks, man. But yeah. I know a few things here and there when it comes to computer programs and such. Most likely though it will be an entry level data entry job for me honestly. I don't know much beyond IT tech stuff that requires degrees and all. I just kinda want to leave the factory work behind. It does get physically demanding sometimes. Only sometimes though. And I hate being drained after work to where I'm about to pass out at home all the time. I guess i rather be mentally drained then physically drained. So I could have more energy during the day.
Mentally draining can be just as bad, just to let you know. It seems like it would be better, but not always. It depends on the person, though... ---
