azuarc 08/02/18 10:20:32 PM #100: | Rusty Recycler https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/rusty-recycler/ 5 mana 2/6 Taunt. Lifesteal. Rating: Medium Comment: This is a tough one to call. It's as good for healing as an Applebaum if it attacks twice (but with less damage), but the magnetic potential means this thing could be a monster. The question is if that's Timmy-bait. E.M.P. Operative https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/e-m-p-operative/ 5 mana 3/3 NOT a mech. Battlecry: Destroy a mech Rating: High? Comment: This expansion's going to be a bit of a fail if there isn't one good mech deck, but will it be worth teching in a 5 mana 3/3? Wargear https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/wargear/ 5 mana 5/5 Magnetic. Rating: High Comment: I've heard some people crap on this card, but I think this card is solid. 5/5 for 5 is okay if you can't do anything else with it, and being able to get 5 damage of "charge" makes this about as good as Leeroy if you've got a mech on board. Zilliax https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/zilliax/ 5 mana 3/2 Legendary Magnetic, DS, Taunt, LS, Rush Rating: Medium-high Comment: I like Al'Akir. I don't like Zilliax as much. The Rush is only really useful if you're playing it naked, and as a naked card, a 3/2 rush with all those keywords for 5 probably isn't horrible, though I'd rather have it for 4. As a buff, though, giving a minion taunt, lifesteal, and divine shield could be incredibly brutal. The question is if 3/2 is the right distribution of stats. For the DS/LS, you'd want more attack. For the taunt, you'd want more life. 5 stats is equivalent to a 2-drop, so being that light on stats means you need to get real mileage out of those effects. At times this card could be amazing, but at others, I think it will come up short massively. I'm personally not in favor. Missile Launcher https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/missile-launcher/ 6 mana 4/4 Magnetic. At EOT, deal 1 to the rest of the board. Rating: Medium-high Comment: 4/4 for 6 isn't great, but this is like a Dreadlord buff attachable to any minion. Blessing of Kings, with an extra 2 mana for the Dreadscale effect. Come to think of it, why doesn't this have "Dread" in the name? Spark Drill https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/spark-drill/ 6 mana 5/1 Rush. Deathrattle: Add 2 1/1's with rush to hand. Rating: Low Comment: So pay 8, deal 7 damage? It does have the potential to clear one big threat and ping a couple more, but unless you're playing this with something like a Flametongue Totem, this really isn't going to be that good. Damaged Stegotron https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/damaged-stegotron/ 6 mana 5/12 Taunt. Starts with 6 damage. Rating: High Comment: Witchwood Grizzly 2.0. There's no ways to cheat out a mech, specifically, but all the cheat-out strategies still apply, or this can be good in a healing deck. I imagine priest in particular will love this card for the DS-IF potential. Mechanical Whelp https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/mechanical-whelp/ 6 mana 2/2 Deathrattle: Summon a 7/7 Rating: High Comment: Risky card, since the 7/7 isn't up front, but in a deathrattle deck, this has strong potential. Put this in hunter, trigger it a few times...what's a Devilsaur Egg? (Egg is still better because it costs 3, but hey, this is a nice back-up plan.) Bull Dozer https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/bull-dozer/ 9 mana 9/7 Divine Shield. Rating: Low Comment: Force Tank Max is back! --- Video Game Music Contest 12 winner: Ys 8 - Sunshine Coastline ... Copied to Clipboard! |
