FF only had one anime series that didn't go anywheres waaaaay back when and FFXIV has no associated anime series. FFXIV: Dad of Light (which is rather good) is a live-action series with footage taken in-game and takes place towards the end of A Realm Reborn while Shinryu vs. Omega happened at the tail-end of the expansion Heavensward to lead into the Stormblood expansion. Shinryu's first appearance was in FFV as a bonus boss.
