It might be a generalization, but when Republicans in Alabama thought it would be better to have a child predator in office than a Democrat that tells you they have no real morals and just want to see their party in office. Sure, sure, Moore was defeated since black voters showed up at the polls(he had 75% of white men and over 60% of white women, so might have been undone by his 'cotton picking' style comment alluding to slavery), but nationally, and with Hillary being so toxic that she might as well be firing off gamma rays, whoever runs in 2020 has a hard battle ahead of them to overcome the Electoral College, gerrymandering, and all the rural Republicans who buy into the "baby killers are coming for your guns" rhetoric spit at them from Fox and other outlets. --- "I'd rather betray the world than let the world betray me." -Cao Cao ...
