I have seen so many accounts of people around for the very start of Nazi Germany, when it was nothing more than...well, if you read them, the quotes are similar to what we're looking at now. "It's not all that bad." "Look I think you're overreacting, and if you want to make comparisons to (insert atrocity here) just because homosexuals are mysteriously disappearing, then you're an idiot." Then you fast forward a few years and the prevailing question becomes "Well why didn't you do something to stop the Nazis *before* they were in a position that you couldn't possibly do so?
