This excuse (which is all it is) would work alot better if black people weren't already over represented in media. If you were actually interested in being fair, you'd be promoting a Hispanic or Asian lead. Since they actually are underrepresented. who says i'm not? i'd love to see more hispanic and asian actors in roles. and it's not an excuse, it's a legitimate explanation. you just don't like it because i dunno it makes you feel bad or something. No because it's stupid. It's inconsistent bullshit thinking that sets one standard for one group and a different standard for another.
