Everyone complains about 3D Zelda games being rehashes, but for 2D Zelda it's okay? And I really don't understand the praise for the item system either. I get that the whole "Pick up item in dungeon, use it to solve the puzzles in dungeon and beat boss" formula was stale, but this was even worse. The dungeons are all meant to be entered with only one or two items, and in turn they had to limit it to those items for solving puzzles, which made them very obvious. Idk. I had lots of fun with it.
