Then it's pretty well established that a reboot can occur. Change "various" continuities to "two" and the point stands.

I wish they didn't reboot the series. I think it was fine as it was. I wish they'd just finish the DC films and somehow go back to the old loose continuity.

I'd rather he not be changed just to appease people who don't seem to be fans of the series anyway. It's almost like a meme now to have JB be black. Besides, studios don't really care about diversity and inclusiveness, they just do stuff like to be trendy and make money.

With that being said, I still don't care that much like other people seem to. I'd still go see a movie with a black James Bond. I'm just not a fan of race swapping of established characters any kind. I wouldn't want a white Shaft movie either.

I think it would be interesting if Bond returned to the Cold War. I don't see why entertainment these days always needs to reflect modern times.

I like the Craig films. Casino Royale and Skyfall were good enough to balance out how terrible the other two were. But I agree with you, it's time to let his run end.
