I didn't really have this problem during the wait for CS2, for example, and we knew both that it was coming and when it was coming when CS1 came out. Same deal for 3rd... and even SC during the agonizing wait. But as is, it just feels like any future releases are far off in the future and part of me despairs at it all and just wants to experience it in some way.
