What I can say, without any spoilers, it's not necessarily slow, but if you are expecting a lot of action and gunfights, you aren't going to find it in this series. The storyline is very interesting, and I found it to be fantastic. The last season concludes with loose ends, BUT they are making a film to conclude the series, confirmed recently. They are starting to film it in a few months. Enjoy the ride, one of my all-time favorite series.
