Look at Doughtys contract from today. Theres an age factor that goes into it also. The Leafs got a really good player today, and if my team got him I would be extatic. I would still say he was overpaid though, assuming it was the same 11 mil. I get where youre coming from too - fuck it, overpay to get him, just be aware that its an overpayment.
