You can recommend other things you think they might enjoy more, and you can make suggestions but you cant flat out say something a customer is buying sucks. But even if that wasnt some sort of policy somewhere in the annals of my company, its just unprofessional and downright rude to say something somebody is buying sucks. Though i doubt he ever had the product in question, he just didnt want to give in and adjust the price for our mistake so he had to get the customer to not buy it one way or the other. ...
