If I intermediate twice (I did it this week cause I only tried once and it was close to the buzzer-- finished with like rank 11k) it's when it gets shaky. If I had +10s across the board or merged armors (shame I don't like any of the common armors) it would probably be doable with two or three intermediates, which really is probably more than you should need unless you don't train up many units at all. --- No problem!
