I think the issue is most people have never had that experience at GameStop. I mean, I'm not a super regular customer (Amazon and Best Buy ftw... until my GCU expires, then just Amazon I guess...), but over the last couple decades I've been in my local GameStops plenty of times, and stopped in others when I'm out of town, and literally one time did they get annoying with the badgering about pre-orders and game warranties and stuff. Usually they don't bother at all, or ask maybe one extra question that is easy to say no to.

Not that there probably aren't some employees that are like the one I encountered *one time* but it definitely isn't the average experience.

But yeah as to the actual topic, I hope they pull through somehow. They do some annoying stuff but I like brick and mortar stores to exist, I was actually thinking of signing up for the pro elite membership since GCU is ending at Best Buy and giving them business on a semi-regular basis again.
