I don't see how naming the teacher would make it any easier or harder to figure out the kid's identity, still. It's less like your example, and more like identifying a town where somebody lives vs. identifying where they buy groceries. If you know the town where someone lives, knowing where they buy their groceries doesn't really add much useful information. If you know what school someone attends, knowing which teachers they have isn't very helpful in figuring out who they are.

A teacher only has so many students per class and so many classes per day. As such, that narrows things down immensely. Meanwhile a grocery store can have tens of thousands of unique customers across the span of a month, some of whom might only pop in for a few minutes.

The school only has 443 students. We know that the kid is a freshman, so that narrows it down to probably under 150 students. Figure half are female and that brings us to fewer than 75 students. If you add one more tag to that, you can narrow the pool down to maybe 30 or fewer students. With the teacher's name, there are probably several posters here who could have his identity by the end of tonight if they wanted.

Can you just get that info, though...

Some info is easier than others, but a lot of it is publicly available in some form. If you're asking if I could personally do it myself, I'm not sure. The school's website seems to cover a lot of information, though, and other stuff you could probably get off social.
