The ironic thing is you're preaching like you know anything about discs while also pretending Steam isn't trash. HL2 was the ONLY game I purchased that straight up told me I couldn't use it. Any other disc or cart, toss it in and it works. Because I was offline Steam was like 'go F yourself' when trying to load HL2. If this is what you're defending then you're a lunatic. Funny 'cause I remember M$ trying to push 'always online' a few E3's ago. They got what they deserved and never recovered. If PC users were smart they'd dump the platform just the same.
