In Canada's most played lottery game called "Lotto Max", the most you can ever win is 60 MILLION...and like most lotto corporations down south,

But the USA is in the North! #NorthAmerica (At least until that 80 ft tall wall of magical ice is built to keep wild Canadians out of the US.)

however, the difference is in the United States, it ISN'T tax free and should you win the daily double, you will be subjected to the highest tax bracket...but in Canada, it's tax free and you won't be taxed at the highest rate even though you're now a multi millionaire...

Since Canada's is government run, if the jackpot is not claimed in one week, the amount gets carried over until it reaches 60 million..however, if it gets carried over again, that number doesn't change and it stays at 60 million but the money that's carried over will then be put into "maxi-millions". meaning they run 7 numbers AGAIN and if people have tickets that match those 7 numbers, they win a MILLION!!

That sounds like a kinda awful system, but I guess it cuts down on people wasting money on lotto tickets.

Only 60 million?

Thats chump change

It's even worse than that, tbh -- it's CAD. That means it's around $45m USD.

Well, our WCLC has slightly different rules, but that's mostly accurate

Is it less popular as a result?
