Battler jokes about how a pitfall mechanism would be strange even in a ninja mansion A: Have you met your grandfather? Then Battler says that Dad would joke I wouldnt put it past grandfather. We both laugh like idiots Battler finds Jessicas corpse and mentions gangrene (I didnt catch the exact line): A: If shes talking on the phone while staring at a person pointing a gun to her head, theres a fairly good chance shes not going to die of gangrene! He then talks about how Jessica couldnt have seen or known that George was by the arbor, but hes really stretching his excuses. He says the arbor is too far away and its hard to see in a typhoon. While all true, you could say she saw him anyway. Or the culprit (Sayo) had them both meet up at the arbor, killed George, shot Jessica who ran to her room, and was later killed. A: Battler is trying hard to make us believe she couldnt see George from the window. What if she saw light from gun fire?
