Don't respond to this until later, because I'm just throwing out some conjecture, but a passing statement by Maya just put a theory in my head. Dhurke keeps talking about not being long for this world, and continues to be dismissive talking around the subject. All Maya said was "Dhurke's been arrested?! B-But...." and that was enough to make me realize..... Dhurke's already dead and has been channeled by Amara this whole time. As for how long "this whole time" goes back for, I actually don't know. It could be since this particular incident, it could be for 23 years.
